Blu-Ray Shopping

This week’s grab included Gareth Evans’ brilliant over the top action film The Raid: Redemption. The tagline reads “1 minute of romance, 99 minutes of non-stop carnage”, and seriously, it doesn’t disappoint! Next up is the remastered Spieldberg classic Jaws. I mean c’mon, any serious film fan is gonna have to pick this up! I opted out of the book version as I find the cases never hold together well, but either way it’s an excellent package. Lots of bonus material including a full length never before released doc.

I also went in looking to pick up last week’s release of Grim Season 1, but the price jumped $10 since it was released. I will pick it up, but now I’ll just wait until it hits the $30 mark. I just can’t justify paying over $50 for anything but The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones!

Next I grabbed a little filler including Moon, Enemy at the Gates, Exit Humanity, and the new Christian Bale film The Flowers of War (which I haven’t seen yet).

This Saturday also marks the release of The Hunger Games.
